Our technique

Indication

GoldThread^TM 24K Gold Thread 5-0 is indicated for use in soft tissues for wrinkle reduction procedures requiring minimal in vivo tensile strength.

Contraindications

GoldThread^TM 24K Gold Thread 5-0 is contraindicated in patients with known sensitivities to gold or other noble metals.

Postoperative

• To reduce swelling, cold compresses are recommended for up to 1/2 hour. Use of bandages should not be required.
• Oedemas, bruises or hematomes can occur -normally post operative treatment is not required since it will be quickly absorbed in a few days.
• Infections are very rare, if good sterile technique is observed, but can be avoided or resolved using topical antibiotics.
• Sensitive patients may experience some inflammation and anti-inflammatory drug treatment can be prescribed.
